Winter Fun in Tahoe This Weekend

With all the great snow we’ve gotten recently your options for winter fun are unlimited!  Year round enjoyment is what Tahoe is all about.  Take your pick of these great activities!

 

Adventure Mountain

Situated on the top of Echo Summit, Adventure Mountain offers tons of great family activities.  This is the largest sledding resort in all of the sierras and has some of the best snowfall in the entire basin.  Choose from sledding, snow play activities, snowshoeing, and much more.  Once you’ve had your fill of frosty fun stop by the cafe in the lodge for some hot cocoa and a souvenir.

 

Fresh Tracks Snowshoe Walk & Race at Camp Richardson

This family friendly event takes place at Camp Richardson on the 26th starting at 10am.  Camp Richardson has long been a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike.  You can race if you like to win handmade gifts made by Rene Gorevin or just take a leisurely stroll while gazing at the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe.  

 

Legendary Banked Slalom at Kirkwood

Whether you want to be a spectator or competitor you can’t go wrong with a trip to Kirkwood this sunday for their annual Banked Slalom event.  The race starts at 10am with registration taking place at the Red Cliffs Club at 7:30am.  They will have a safety and team meeting at 9:15 in the same location.  Racers will speed down SnowSnake Gully for prizes and awards.

 

Subaru Winterfest at Sierra

Sierra-at-Tahoe is hosting the Subaru Winterfest, a celebration of all things awesome about winter.  Live Music will be provided by Harmon Kardon and enjoy food and drink at the lodge after an adrenaline fueled day of fun.  Let your winter warrior loose and enjoy the best tahoe has to offer at Sierra.
