South Lake Tahoe Real Estate for Sale and Sold Report, October 2016

The South Lake Tahoe housing market is currently steady. The inventory of homes is lower than last year. As long as interest rates remain the same home prices should continue to increase.

The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year
– The median sales price for South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes for Sale was $415,000 in October 2016, compared to $353,000 during September 2015.
– The number of South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes that sold was 81 in October 2016 vs. 73 homes sold in October 2015.
– There were 44 new listings entering the market this month.
– There are 12 South Lake Tahoe, CA homes for sale that are under contract which represents 5.66% of the overall available inventory of 212 homes.
– Average days on the market: 123 days.
– From the 212 homes currently on the market, none of them are foreclosures.
