The South Lake Tahoe housing market is currently steady. The inventory of homes is lower than last year. As long as interest rates remain the same home prices should continue to increase.

The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year
– The median sales price for South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes for Sale was $390,500 in July 2016, compared to $313,000 during July 2015.
– The number of South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes that sold was 52 in July 2016 vs. 82 homes sold in June 2015.
– There were 114 new listings entering the market this month.
– There are 37 South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes for Sale that are under contract which represents 10.3% of the overall available inventory of 358 homes.
– Average days on the market: 94 days.
– From the 358 homes currently on the market, 1 of them is foreclosure.
