Memorial Day Weekend In South Lake Tahoe

Memorial Day weekend is almost here, so with the myriad of things to do in South Lake Tahoe, I thought I would highlight some of the best events coming up.

Aloha Friday Summer Kick Off Luau at the Cold Water Brewery & Pub

Kick off your Memorial Day Weekend and the summer at the Cold Water Brewery.  They will host a luau with a pig roast, live music, and drink specials!  Don’t forget to wear your Hawaiian shirt for $4.00 beers.  This offer lasts all summer long as well!

Tahoe Games Bike Nights at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course

If sports are more your speed, head over to the Lake Tahoe Golf Course.  Registration for the bike race begins at 7PM on May 27th with a riders meet and greet before the race at 9PM.  The event is free to attend and has a youth race as well.  The course is about 6 miles long and helmets and headlights are recommend.  The after party begins at 10PM with a raffle and awards for winners.

Hellman-Ehrman Mansion Tours

Take a trip back in time with a tour to the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion.  The opening tours take place on Saturday, May 28th from 10:30AM to 3:30PM and will continue to run all summer long!  This beautiful mansion was built in 1903 by I.W. Hellman as a summer home for his family to enjoy.  True love never dies and this is even more true when it comes to loving Lake Tahoe.  People for generations have been coming here and making it home.  Come by and tour through the Lake’s history with this event.

Lake Tahoe Club Crawl

Weather your a Tahoe local or not this event is a great way to tour some of the best restaurants and bars in town.  The ticket for this crawl includes welcome shots and cover for each bar.  The crawl will start with The Loft at 7:30, then will go to McP’s Taphouse, followed by The Lucky Beaver, and finally X-Hale the hookah lounge.

ZOSO-The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe

If you are looking for more of a Rock n’ Roll experience to celebrate this Memorial Day Weekend ZOSO will be at Harveys Lake Tahoe.  They are the closest you can get to seeing Led Zeppelin live today.  Each band member has been selected to both resemble the original members and shred like them.  These guys are one of the most traveled and successful tribute bands around.  With 18 years of touring experience they have crafted their performance to the peak of Rock n’ Roll intensity.

There’s so many more ways you can enjoy this Memorial Day weekend especially when you get to spend time with friends and family, have a nice BBQ, go to the lake and have a blast! Have a wonderful holiday!!
