South Lake Tahoe Real Estate for Sale and Sold Report, July 2015

 

The South Lake Tahoe housing market seems to be picking up. The inventory of home is still high but we’re seeing homes going into escrow more often, and some properties are starting to receive multiple offers..

The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year
– The median sales price for South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes for Sale was $315,000 in July 2015 compared to $375,000 during July 2014.
– The number of South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes that sold was 77 in July 2015 vs. 57 homes sold in July 2014.
– There were 109 new listings entering the market this month.
– There are 114 South Lake Tahoe, CA Homes for Sale that are under contract which represents 31% of the overall available inventory of 371 homes.
– Average days on the market: 81 days.
– From the 371 homes currently on the market, 7 of them are distressed properties: 5 short sales and 2 foreclosures.

This Month’s Most Expensive
