Here is the Monthly Real Estate Market Update for the Month of July, year of 2011 for the area of South Lake Tahoe, California.
As of July 31st we had a total of 496 Residential Properties in the Market, including single family and condos, with an average price of $727,519.
In that same group (Residential Properties including single family and condos), we had a total of 93 New Listings entering the Market in the month of July. The average price for new listings this month was $582,358, with an average price per square feet of $231 (not including the new listing at Fallen Leaf Road, listed at $12,000,000).
From 496 Listings, 62 Properties went into escrow, 14 of them being a Short Sale. The average price for the homes that went into escrow this month was $312,454, with an average price per square feet of $190 and they were an average of 117 days in the market.
In July, 47 Homes were SOLD. The average sale price for the homes that were sold this month was $318,685 with an average price per square feet of $185 and an average of 154 days in the market.
